Delivery of Goods

Furniture is often large and delicate. There are many procedures in the delivery process that must be followed to ensure a reliable, secure and efficient service.

As a result, delays can occur during deliveries and extra time may be required. If a delivery date has not been arranged by the store please contact our Despatch department directly on 1300 880 370.

Due to the nature of imported goods, there can be delays in the shipment of product. Please note that all booking dates are TENTATIVE only, and are NOT GUARANTEED. If you have provided us with your mobile number our deliveries team will update you on the arrival and the delivery of your furniture via SMS.

Two days prior to your delivery we will SMS all of the important delivery information about your order to your mobile. If all the information is correct you will only need to text back OK. If there are any details that are not correct or you wish to change your delivery date please ring us on 1300 880 370.

If a delivery date has not been arranged by the store please contact our Despatch department directly on the above number.

Please refer to the Terms & Conditions of Delivery of Goods prior to calling our Despatch team. In order to offer our customers a better delivery service these terms and conditions replace any delivery and pickup conditions stated on your order form.

Terms & Conditions:

A It is important that someone is at home to receive delivery of your purchase on the designated day. No specific time of delivery can be provided. A four hour time frame will be advised but cannot be guaranteed.

B A minimum delivery fee of $75 (metropolitan areas only) is payable separately to the Carrier in cash or bank cheque.
Delivery Fees Outside of the Metropolitan area will be quoted upon request.

C Cash or bank cheque must be used to pay any balance of monies owing at time of delivery. Personal/Company cheques will NOT be accepted. For your convenience we can accept credit cards in store 48 hours prior to delivery, surcharges may apply. Credit Cards will NOT be accepted over the phone. If the balance is not paid prior to or at the time of delivery, your goods will be returned to the Distribution Center and an additional minimum delivery charge of $75 will be payable to the carrier upon re-delivery.

D It is important that sufficient access is available to deliver the furniture you have purchased. In cases where the furniture needs to be disassembled additional charges will apply. Lounges that need to be disassembled and reassembled will incur a minimum costs of $250.00 plus any additional redelivery fees if the items delivered need to be returned to the Nick Scali Distribution Centre. To avoid re-delivery fees please advise our Despatch Department in advance of any access problems.

E Once arrangement for a delivery day is confirmed, there will be a minimum re-delivery charge of $75 if no person is at the delivery address on the day of delivery or the delivery is cancelled by the customer on day of delivery.

F In the event of a re-delivery due to reasons above (c),(d), & (e) a minimum amount of $150 is payable: $75 for the initial delivery plus $75 for the re-delivery (2 X delivery fees) (metropolitan areas only) out of area will incur higher redelivery fees.

G When receiving goods, please inspect thoroughly before signing “Received in good order” as any claims for scratches, marks, dents or other damages will not be accepted once signed.

H Failure to collect or take delivery of goods beyond 21 days from the date of contact by our Despatch Department will result in the Sales Order being cancelled and all monies paid being forfeited.

J All original packing & wrapping will be left at the premises (delivery address).
